Les Clapet Coupe Feu

Un clapet coupe-feu est un dispositif automatique de fermeture permettant d'empêcher la propagation d'un incendie par les conduits de ventilation, en stoppant les fumées et les gaz chauds. Il est généralement installé dans les murs, les planchers ou les toitures, à l'endroit où un conduit de ventilation traverse une paroi coupe-feu. Le clapet coupe-feu est composé de deux parties principales : Une lame, qui est la partie mobile qui se ferme en cas d'incendie. Un mécanisme de fermeture, qui est activé par une température élevée ou par un autre signal, tel qu'un détecteur d'incendie. Dans des conditions normales, le clapet coupe-feu est ouvert, permettant la circulation de l'air. En cas d'incendie, la température à l'intérieur du conduit augmente et déclenche le mécanisme de fermeture. La lame se ferme alors hermétiquement, empêchant la propagation des flammes et des fumées.
